Adam Słoka studied at the Medical Academy in Krakow at the Faculty of Medicine in the years 1986-1992. In the years 1993-1996 he completed a specialization internship On October 25, 1996, he obtained the First Degree Diploma of Specialization in Ophthalmology. |
In January 1997 he started working at the Ophthalmology Department of the Provincial Ophthalmology Hospital
named after Ludwik Rydygier in Krakow. At the same time, he began a specialization internship under the direction of
Dr. n.med Jolanta Dubiel. On November 16, he obtained the Second Degree Specialist Diploma in Ophthalmology.
He worked at the Ludwik Rydygier Regional Specialist Hospital in Krakow until December 31, 2007.
In the years 2004-2008 he performed cataract surgery at the Zooptica Ophthalmology Center in Krakow.
Since 2007, he has been performing cataract surgery at the Department of Ophthalmology at the District Hospital in Dębica.
Since 2008, he has been performing cataract surgery and anti-glaucoma treatments at the Provincial Ophthalmology Hospital in Krakow.
Since 2011, he has been performing cataract surgery at the Tuchów Health Center in Tuchów.
Since 2011, he has been performing Femtolasik laser vision correction procedures, ring implantation procedures
femtosecond laser-assisted INTACS in keratoconus, cataract surgeries by phacoemulsification and femtosecond laser-assisted phacoemulsification.
He completed numerous specialization internships, courses and trainings.
In July 2003 he participated in the international course of Laser Refractive Surgery
in London at the London Vision Clinic.
In 2005 he participated in the 6th International Meeting of Allegretto Laser Users in Cologne.
He participated in the congress of the European Society for Cataract and Refraction Surgery in Lisbon in 2005,
in Berlin in 2008, in Amsterdam in 2013 and in Barcelona in 2015.
Attended the 2007 American Academy of Ophthalmology convention in New Orleans,
in Atlanta, in 2009 in San Francisco, in 2010 and 2014 in Chicago.
He has been a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 2009.
In 2013, he obtained a certificate of completion of training in the field of wrinkle filling and face modeling.
Since 1997, he has been running a specialist medical practice in Krakow.
